Endless Pursuit is Rick's second release(2005),
. Although many of the tracks feature the piano,
Rick plays all the acoustic and electric basses,
acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards (piano,
organ, synthesizer) - and a few other surprises
as well. In addition, he is aided by some of the
finest players in the Pacific Northwest.

The Heart of the Matter
Rick Waldron’s third release, ‘Heart of the Matter’, is
the follow-up to his successful 2005 “Endless
Pursuit”. Rick has combined masterful songwriting,
fluid technique and a knack for melody that has
wowed listeners, virtually redefining the term ‘multi-
instrumentalist.’ All of the tunes here are written,
produced and arranged by Rick except the standard
‘All the Things You Are ( Kern/Hammerstein). Rick is
playing all pianos, upright bass, and electric and
acoustic guitars. He is joined again on this recording
by some great talents, including Thomas Marriott
(trumpet), Chuck Stowell (trumpet),  Anne Drummond
(flute) and Ken French ( drums ).
"Making creative and well-played music has always been the
heart of the matter with jazz, and with this fine new disc,
Waldron expertly hits that sincere heart mark."
